Lyman PTSA Student Committee 2026 | 2027

Lyman PTSA’s Student Committee is a way for students to share their ideas, get involved, and help be the voice of Lyman. This committee gives students the opportunity to provide feedback, help plan school spirit activities, suggest new ideas, support PTSA events, and play a part in making Lyman an even stronger school community.

We understand that many students are involved in clubs, activities, classes, and other commitments during lunch, which can make it difficult to attend in-person Student Committee meetings. To make participation more flexible and accessible, Lyman PTSA plans to offer virtual Student Committee meeting options throughout the school year.

Students who participate virtually will still have the opportunity to share ideas, provide feedback, and help guide PTSA-supported student activities and initiatives. While virtual participants will not receive refreshments during regular meetings, students who attend at least three Student Committee meetings during the school year, whether virtual or in person, will be invited to a special end-of-year lunch celebration during school.

For any in-person Student Committee meetings held during lunch, Lyman PTSA will provide light refreshments and snacks for students who attend.

To help us plan properly and keep accurate attendance records, all students must complete the sign-in form at the bottom of this page at least 24 hours before each Student Committee meeting. This includes both virtual and in-person participants. Attendance counts will be used to track participation and determine eligibility for the end-of-year lunch celebration.

Students interested in participating should watch the Lyman PTSA Facebook page and other PTSA social media channels for announcements about upcoming meeting dates, virtual options, committee days, and sign-up deadlines.

We are excited to hear from our students, support their ideas, and give them a space to lead, collaborate, and make an impact at Lyman.
